Hi, my name is Brent, and I’m proud to be the owner of Accel Auto & Transmission Repair in Holland, Michigan. My brother Chad and I opened Accel in 2011 with just two car lifts, a small office, and a big dream: to build an auto repair shop where people could feel confident they were being treated honestly, fairly, and with respect.

What started as a small shop has grown into a full-service automotive repair facility serving drivers throughout Holland and the surrounding West Michigan communities. While our building, equipment, and team have grown considerably over the years, the principles we started with have remained the same.

From the beginning, our mission has been simple: treat every customer with honesty, fairness, and respect. Accel Auto & Transmission Repair was built around integrity, hard work, quality workmanship, and genuinely caring about the people who trust us with their vehicles.

We believe customers deserve clear information, straightforward recommendations, and the opportunity to make informed decisions about their vehicles. Our goal isn’t simply to repair cars. We want to build relationships with our customers that last for years.

As Accel has grown, so has our ability to take care of nearly everything our customers need. Our motto, “From Oil Changes to Overhauls,” describes exactly what we do.

Our team handles routine maintenance and everyday repairs including oil changes, brake service, wheel alignments, suspension work, diagnostics, air conditioning service, and preventative maintenance. We also have the experience and capabilities to take on major repairs including engine and transmission work.

Every vehicle that comes through our doors receives a free Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI). Our inspections include photos, technician notes, and information about the condition of your vehicle so you can see what we see and better understand any recommendations we make.
